High Technology Institute-SpaceTECThe Aerospace Academy is a member of SpaceTEC, a national aerospace science Technical Education Center of Excellence, funded by the National Science Foundation. SpaceTEC serves as a focal point for technical education resources featuring aerospace, providing motivation for academic studies and professional development for faculty, students, and aerospace employees. San Jacinto College, through the Aerospace Academy, is one of twelve community colleges and their local school districts, universities, and aerospace employers making up SpaceTEC.
