Pre-College Programs -
Project Lead the Way The Aerospace Academy, in a collaboration of *K-12 partners, **post-secondary educational institutions and Project Lead the Way (www.pltw.org), is working to bring funding for pre-engineering curricula to several Texas school districts. The problem addressed is the widening gap in the current and future engineering workforce is created by the large number of retirees exiting the workforce and the low number of new engineers entering.
