Texas Workforce Commission Youth in Technology Grant: Careers in Technology Impact Program (C-TIP)

San Jacinto College received a $230,984 grant from the Texas Workforce Commission’s “Youth in Technology” program to assist in increasing enrollment and retention among lower socioeconomic groups and individuals who traditionally do not enroll in post secondary engineering or computer science programs.   San Jacinto College/Aerospace & Biotechnology Academy will collaborate with NASA-JSC, aerospace industry partners, the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership, the Houston-Galveston Area Council and multiple high schools within seven local school districts to bring C-TIP to the target communities.
