GALEX: The Galaxy Evolution Explorer is the web site for the Galaxy
Evolution Explorer, a NASA UV imaging and spectroscopic survey mission
designed to map the global history and probe the causes of star formation
and its evolution over the redshift range 0<z<2. Appropriate for college
students.
NASA Quest is a rich resource for educators, kids and space enthusiasts
who are interested in meeting and learning about NASA people and the
national space program. NASA Quest allows the public to share the excitement
of NASA’s authentic scientific and engineering pursuits like flying in the
Shuttle and the International Space Station, exploring distant planets with
amazing spacecraft, and building the aircraft of the future.
National Space Science Data Center provides access to a wide variety of
astrophysics, space physics, solar physics, lunar and planetary data from
NASA space flight missions, in addition to selected other data and some
models and software. The site includes a space science education page that
contains links appropriate for all age groups.
Plane Math - Mathematics and Aeronautics is a NASA sponsored site that
provides class activities and other links that seek to apply mathematics to
aeronautic science. Appropriate for elementary school students.
Windows to the Universe is a comprehensive and graphics-intensive earth
and space science site that is partially funded by NASA. Appropriate for
all age groups.
